“There are no foreign lands. It is only the traveller who is foreign” Robert Louis Stevenson
My first adventure as a child was having lived in the UK for a year, we visited different cities in the weekends and camped around Europe during the long summer break. This inspired me to do to it all again once I’d finished my Hairdressing apprenticeship in my early 20’s. I revisited most countries in Europe by Contiki and even stayed in a few of the same camping grounds. My Overseas Experience was planned to be 12 months away and I landed back home 3 years later.
On my return, I knew I wanted to be in the travel industry, so I completed a course at Travel Careers and Training, and it wasn’t long after I started at Wellington Airport with Ansett New Zealand.
Over the years I have had many wonderful overseas adventures with friends, with my own family and travelled on my own.
Having two boys (that’s where the adrenaline part of it comes in) I want to inspire them at a young age to have their own adventures, enjoy the experience and to see The World. By setting an example for them I ran the New York Marathon (2015) and finished the Great Wall Half Marathon (2017).
I’m all about creating that special memory, it’s better to look back in life and say: “I can’t believe I did that.” Than to look back and say: “I wish I did that” and that’s why I’ll be committed to you and assist giving friendly advice towards planning your next memorable destination from start to finish.
As I recently joined with NZ Travel brokers, I’m excited, enthusiastic and passionate about providing an exceptional service to you, my personal goals have been set, committed to work hard and to Dream Big…..and oh, did I mention Travel?
